Not exactly,
I have past regrets,
For anything and
Everything……..
Things came on
My way,
Or destined to come to me,
And which fell far away
Did not meant
For me……
A list could be
Endless,
So to say, but
I don’t see any logic
In saying that
‘Why I did not
Swam in rivers,
Pools and Seas…….
Not climbed
The mountains
And snow-clad
Peaks………..
Why I did not
Played on the slopes of Himalayas,
Or Alps……..
Why I did not
Learn to sing,
Or play any instrument,
Or put my fingers
On strings of Guitar, Sitar or Sarod……..
Why I did not
Learnt Science and
Became a Scientist, Doctor,
Or a Botanist…….
Why I did not
Learnt Sanskrit, French, German or Japanese
To read different literature…..
Why I did not learnt stage performance
And acted in a Movie or Stage-dramas……
Why I did not
Learnt how to play
Tennis, Cricket of Chess, and
Minted millions of Dollars…….
This can go on and on,
And I may ponder more and more….
Why I have not trodden the path of
Illusory Politics………
Any why I have not became a Judge……
Endless are queries,
And endless could be ‘Self-doubts’…….
BUT
A fact is clear and unambiguous,
Everybody cannot become
Whatever he wishes……
Everybody is not meant for everything is
A real fact…………
Sunil Gavaskar cannot become Amitabh Bacchan,
Sherpa Tensing could not be Pundit Ravi Shankar,
Prakash Padukon cannot act like his daughter, Deepika,
And Hema Malini cannot sing like Lata Mangeshar
Or for that matter Pandit Bhimsen Joshi……..
In our lives,
I agree fewer things
Got shaped by our individual
Upbringing,
Family Surroundings,
Schools and Colleges……..
But beyond all these,
Based on our
Previous Birth,
We inherit Our Karmas
And those Karmas are seeds,
We had planted for
Our Future Next Birth (Current)…….
And if,
That is the case,
Why we and
Why I question
Myself,
And my
‘Not Becoming or ‘Not Doing’
‘This’ or ‘That???????
It is futile for Me and You too,
To lament and blame
Ourselves and Our Destiny……
What comes to us,
What Life we Had,
What Life we Have,
And
What Life
We Shall Have,
Is Our Own creation,
What we sowed,
That will reap,
That We got,
That we will get……..
Hey Guys!
Let us accept wholeheartedly,
Joyfully
Happily
Celebrating
Our Lives
As They Are…….
