Serenity Thy Name

Serenity Thy Name
I am flabbergasted
And taken aback
To see
A stupendous monolithic
Grand Kedarnath shrine……

On the top of steep
Uprising huge mountains
Touching God’s abode
Beautiful with a
Blue vast canvass
And ever glittering
Snow-clad peaks……

It is breath-taking
Soothing and inviting
To my inner He,
Mesmerizing and enchanting
My core essence,
To delve into myself………

Serenity is abundance
And magnanimity
Is plentifully overflowing
Mandakini originates
In around engulfing
The scenario……..

Mind wanders berserk
And flying like a free bird,
Remembering the
Exquisite Anubhuti
Engrained 20 years before
Still fresh and crystal clear…….

Could feel that
Nice, warm, pious
Enthralling breeze
And melodious recital
Rhythmic chanting
In Kedarnath temple……..

Evening was inviting
For routine dusk Aarati,
Joined in to experience
The magic of Mantras,
Clear was around atmosphere,
Aarati started with
Clapping in a rhythmic
Syllables flowing from
Within coming from the heart,
And suddenly the garbhagruh
was filled with clouds, thickly,
As if they also wanted to
Join the chanting of prayer……

Started resounding &
Those words resonating within,
Aacharya’s
Nirvanshatakam……

मनोबुद्ध्यहङ्कार चित्तानि नाहं
न च श्रोत्रजिह्वे न च घ्राणनेत्रे ।
न च व्योम भूमिर्न तेजो न वायुः
चिदानन्दरूपः शिवोऽहम् शिवोऽहम् ॥१॥
न च प्राणसंज्ञो न वै पञ्चवायुः
न वा सप्तधातुः न वा पञ्चकोशः ।
न वाक्पाणिपादं न चोपस्थपायु
चिदानन्दरूपः शिवोऽहम् शिवोऽहम् ॥२॥

I melted down in ‘No-Ness’,
And I became empty,
Only void was I,
Only space of infinity,
Encircled by a
Universal Shunya,
That you may call Zero……
I dissolved and merged
With Him and
He was in me,
This I say now,
But then and there
Only One
Adwait !

Perfect Adwait!
Purest in its essence,
Enchanting enlightening,
Leading and telling,
Stirring and stupefying,
Touching me internally
Not only My Heart
But every nook and corner
Of Mine…….

Elixir and Nectar
From above flew in me
Directly to My Sahastrar,
Aadnyachakra,
Ah! That was beyond
Description in words…….

Where was I?
Lost in Him,
Where was He?
Taken over me…..

Nothing remained
To be perceived,
Nothing remained
To be felt,
Nothing remained
To be experienced,
Nothing Nothing
And Nothing
Anymore…..
